Percutaneous Collagen Induction Skin Needling

What is Collagen Induction Therapy ?

Skin needling is a collagen induction therapy that targets a variety of skin concerns, including acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, and changes in skin texture.

By creating tiny punctures in the skin, skin needling treatments promote the regeneration of skin cells and stimulate collagen production, which leads to smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

Micro- Needling Acne Scar + LED

60 minutes

$199

Highly effective treatment for acne scars. By creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface, microneedling stimulates the body’s natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. This process helps to improve skin texture, reduce the depth of acne scars, fade hyperpigmentation, minimize pore size, and enhance overall skin tone. Microneedling is a safe and minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime, making it suitable for most skin types and tones. However, multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results, and it’s essential to consult with a qualified dermatologist or skincare professional for personalized treatment recommendations and proper aftercare.

Micro- Needling Rejuvenation+ LED

60 minutes

$220

Minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that utilises fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface. This stimulates the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production, and resulting in firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. By triggering the skin’s rejuvenation process, microneedling can effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, while improving overall texture and tone. With minimal downtime and long-lasting results, skin needling is a popular choice for achieving radiant and rejuvenated skin.

Our Decolletage Rejuvenation add-on option, specially designed to target the delicate skin of the chest area. This additional treatment focuses on improving skin texture, firmness, and overall appearance, addressing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage. By extending the benefits of skin needling to the decolletage area, you can achieve comprehensive rejuvenation for a more youthful and radiant complexion from head to chest.

What is Skin Needling/ Microneedling?

Skin needling is a non-surgical, minimally invasive facial treatment that uses a microneedling device to stimulate a healing process with new collagen growth in your skin. This collagen production reduces acne scarring, fine lines, and pore size and improves skin texture. Professional face needling is regarded as one of the most risk-free skin-treatment procedures.

The technique of inserting needles into the skin to achieve improved skin conditions has been around for over two decades. First, tattoo machines were used before evolving to derma rollers and then to the derma pen. Skin needling belongs to a treatment group called collagen induction therapy.

How Does Skin Needling Work?

Skin needling causes tiny pinpoint injuries or microchannels on the surface of your skin. This activates growth factors in your skin, kickstarting a healthy healing response. Not only activating cells in the epidermis (cells responsible for intact skin barrier) resulting in a smoother surface, but because these cells communicate with fibroblasts (the cells that produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid), collagen production is activated.

What Are the Benefits of Skin Needling?

Skin needling is used in two main scenarios. The first is as a general treatment to improve skin appearance. The second is as a therapy for skin concerns. Acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, enlarged pores, skin roughness, pigmentation, and hair loss are all treated with microneedling.

Skin-Needling is effectively used for:

  • Return a glow to your skin
  • Reduce scars caused by acne, surgery, or burns;
  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Fade young (red) stretch marks
  • Tighten skin sagging
  • Improve skin tone, texture

Skin-Needling for Acne Scars

Skin-Needling has gained popularity and efficacy in the treatment of acne scars. RF Micro-Needling has the most significant impact. However, Skin-Needling pens and derma-rollers are still used. Therefore, the most critical therapeutic benefit will be provided with adding  RF Skin-Needling to you skin treatment plan. Often multiple treatment modalities are required to lessen acne scars successfully. As a result, in addition to RF micro-needling, an acne scar treatment strategy may involve more than one treatment.

Skin Needling for Wrinkles and Texture Concerns.

Skin-Needling can help with a variety of skin texture issues. Again, RF micro-needling has higher outcomes; however, skin-Needling with derma-pen also produces many results for skin texture concerns. A series of face-needling treatments can alleviate fine lines and wrinkles, crepiness, enlarged pores, skin roughness, and even dryness. Caution is advised, however, because excessive use of deep (3mm) needling with micro-needling pens has resulted in scarring. Therefore, it is best to stay with superficial treatments only!

Skin-Needling for Pigmentation

Skin-Needling should not be used to treat melasma. Melasma can worsen if you apply skin-Needling too aggressively. Superficial Skin-Needling with pen technology can help with some pigmentation. However, be wary of anyone who recommends Skin-Needling as a therapy for pigmentation. It is not the most effective treatment and can cause more problems in the wrong hands.

Skin Needling Decolletage

The décolletage is a distinct area of skin on the body that is frequently overlooked in our daily skincare routines. Our decolletage skin- Needling treatment can help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage to the chest.
